Note that the scoring system above does not apply to Premier League or Champions League contests.
Note that players will score points based on their assigned FantasyGo position, which may differ from the position that play in on the day. For example, if a regular defender plays in midfield for a match, he will still score points as a defender.
Points are usually calculated within 3 hours of the final whistle of the last match of the day – and some stats may be adjusted during this time based on information from Stats Perform.
Final decisions on fantasy points for non-Premier League and non-Champions League contests are determined by FantasyGo in consultation with Stats Perform, and are subject to adjustment.
You must assign a Captain and a Vice-Captain for your Fantasy Football team.
Your Captain’s final score will be multiplied by 2.
Your Vice-Captain’s final score will be multiplied by 1.5.
Zero and negative scores will also be multiplied.
Players will keep scoring points throughout extra time. However, players who play 120 minutes can't get double appearance or clean sheet points.
If a match goes to a penalty-shootout, no points will be scored during the shoot-out.
Points for winning do not apply when a penalty is awarded for handball.
Points for conceding a penalty do apply when a penalty is awarded for handball.
Players that win a penalty don't get points for an assist – instead, they get 2 points for winning the penalty.
A player must be on the field for the entire match to be awarded clean sheet points.
Substituted players will be not be penalised for goals conceded after they have been substituted.
If a player gets a red card, they will continue to be penalised for goals conceded by their team after they’ve been sent off.
Every player who plays in any given match scores one point. Players score an extra point when they play 60 minutes, excluding stoppage time.
Assists are determined by our official stats partner Stats Perform.
Players cannot get assist points for goals that they scored.
Only one player can get assist points for any one goal.
No assist will be given if a player wins a penalty that is then scored, instead they will receive points for winning the penalty.
No assist will be given if a player wins a free-kick that is then scored.
Cards can be awarded to players who are not on the field of play.
If a player gets a yellow card and then a straight red card, they will only be penalised for the red card.
If a player gets a red card, they will continue to be penalised for goals conceded by their team after they’ve been sent off.
Players must have appeared in a match to receive the bonus points for winning a match.
Captains and Vice-Captains who play but finish with a score of 0 or lower will not be replaced.
If your Captain does not play: Your Vice-Captain will become your new Captain and the cheapest player in your team will become your new Vice-Captain.
If your Vice-Captain does not play: The cheapest player in your team will become your new Vice-Captain.
If both your Captain and Vice-Captain do not play: The second cheapest player in your team will become your new Captain and the cheapest player in your team will become your new Vice-Captain.
If two or more players are tied as the cheapest player, the one with fewer total points will be selected.
You will have a budget of 100.0 to pick your Fantasy Football team in all football contests except Premier League (80.0) and Champions League (80.0) contests.
Player prices are determined by FantasyGo, based on ability, expected popularity and recent form. Player prices may change throughout the season but not while a contest is in progress.
