Points are usually calculated within 3 hours of the final whistle of the last match of the day – and some stats may be adjusted during this time based on information from referees or data providers.
Final decisions on fantasy points for Club World Cup contests are determined by FIFA, not FantasyGo.
Note that players will score points based on their assigned FantasyGo position, which may differ from the position that play in on the day. For example, if a regular defender plays in midfield for a match, he will still score points as a defender.
Captaincy
You must assign a Captain and a Vice-Captain for your Fantasy Football team.
Your Captain’s final score will be multiplied by 2.
Your Vice-Captain’s final score will be multiplied by 1.5.
Zero and negative scores will also be multiplied.
Extra Time and Penalty Shoot-outs
Players will keep scoring points throughout extra time. However, players who play 120 minutes can't get double appearance or clean sheet points.
If a match goes to a penalty-shootout, no points will be scored during the shoot-out.
Clean Sheets and Goals Conceded
A player must be on the field for the at least 60 minutes (excluding stoppage time) to be awarded clean sheet points.
Substituted players will be not be penalised for goals conceded after they have been substituted.
If a player gets a red card, they will continue to be penalised for goals conceded by their team after they’ve been sent off.
Minutes Played
Every player who plays in any given match scores one point. Players score an extra point when they play 60 minutes, excluding stoppage time.
Assists
Assists are determined by FIFA's official Club World Cup fantasy game.
Yellow and Red Cards
Cards can be awarded to players who are not on the field of play.
If a player gets a yellow card and then a straight red card, they’ll only be penalised for the red card.
If a player gets a red card, they’ll continue to be penalised for goals conceded by their team after they’ve been sent off.
Scouting Bonus Points
Scouting Bonus points are awarded to players who score 4 or more points and are selected by fewer than 5% of players in FIFA's official Club World Cup fantasy game.
Captaincy Substitutions
Captains and Vice-Captains who play but finish with a score of 0 or lower will not be replaced.
If your Captain does not play: Your Vice-Captain will become your new Captain and the cheapest player in your team will become your new Vice-Captain.
If your Vice-Captain does not play: The cheapest player in your team will become your new Vice-Captain.
If both your Captain and Vice-Captain do not play: The second cheapest player in your team will become your new Captain and the cheapest player in your team will become your new Vice-Captain.
If two or more players are tied as the cheapest player, the one with fewer total points will be selected.
Team Budgets and Player Prices
You will have a budget of 80.0 to pick your fantasy team in all Club World Cup League contests.
Player prices are determined entirely by the official Club World Cup fantasy game. Player prices may change throughout the season but not while a contest is in progress.
