⚖️General Terms and Conditions
1. General
Fantasy Go (Pty) Ltd trading as FantasyGo is an online social game of skill in the Sport and Entertainment industry. Business registration number: 2023/635865/07.
Fantasy Go (Pty) Ltd is majority-owned by Kenilworth Racing (Pty) Ltd, reg no. 2011/008903/07, which is licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.

“Contests” refer to all the games available on FantasyGo’s web and app platforms (“Services”). FantasyGo reserves the right to add and remove Contests from its Services at its own discretion.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions") regulate the usage by you (“you”, the “User”, or the “Player") of the Contests provided on any of FantasyGo’s Services.
These Terms and Conditions establish the entire agreement between you and FantasyGo, and no agreements, representations, or warranties, other than those set out herein, shall be of any force or effect.
These Terms and Conditions constitute a binding agreement between you and FantasyGo and come into force as soon as you accept the conditions by ticking the “I have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy” box upon registration. By accepting, you signify to FantasyGo that you have read these Terms and Conditions and accept them. By using any of the Services belonging to, operated by, or licensed to FantasyGo, you signify that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
You must read these Terms and Conditions carefully in their entirety before you tick the “I have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy” box. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms and Conditions, you must not continue with the account registration process.
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time, as a result of changing operational, legislative, or regulatory requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of all amendments thereto, which will be posted on the FantasyGo website and communicated via email as and when they occur.
No addition to, variation, consensual cancellation, or novation of any of the terms set forth herein and no express or implied waiver of any of the rights arising therefrom shall be of any force and effect unless reduced to writing and signed by both parties or their duly authorised representatives.
No indulgence granted by FantasyGo in regard to the enforcement of its rights under these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as a waiver of such rights (unless expressly provided for as such in a written document signed by the indulgent Party) nor shall it prevent FantasyGo from strictly enforcing its rights in the event of a subsequent breach thereof.

Bold headings used in these Terms and Conditions are used for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Registration
In order for you to be able to enter any FantasyGo Contest or game, you must first personally register an account (“User Account”) with FantasyGo.
You are allowed to have only one User Account. If you attempt to open more than one User Account, the registration process will terminate automatically, and your existing account may be blocked or closed.
Your account must be registered in your own name and nobody else's.
A request to open a User Account is made by personally filling out the online registration form and submitting it to FantasyGo. You must enter all the mandatory information requested into the registration form, in particular, your name and your contact details, including a valid and verified cellular telephone number and email address, and relevant FICA information. All information entered must be complete and accurate.
Your User Account must be registered in your own given name and surname.
In certain circumstances, FantasyGo may request you to provide it with additional information/documents to verify your identity, such as a copy of your official ID card/document and/or proof of residence and/or a "selfie" of you holding one of those documents. If you fail to provide FantasyGo with the requested documents, or if the information or documents that you provide are found to be false or misleading, the registration process will be terminated and no User Account will be created.
You may also be required to verify your identity before being allowed to withdraw funds from your User Account.
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, a person under the age of 18 years is referred to as a “minor”. Minors are prohibited from registering a User Account on FantasyGo or playing any Contests. If FantasyGo is unable to confirm that you are 18 years or older, the registration process will be terminated. In the unlikely event that any minor is proven to have engaged with our Services, the relevant User Account will be closed and any winnings which would have otherwise been payable in respect of Contests won by the minor will be forfeited.
By entering your accurate date of birth information during registration, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the information that you provide is true, complete, and correct and that you keep the information up to date. If any of your information changes, please let us know by contacting support@fantasygo.io.
If any personal information provided is intentionally incorrect, in an attempt to create an additional User Account, that User will be blocked and become ineligible for prizes or bonuses.
As part of the registration process, you will have to choose your username and password for login to our Services. It is your sole and exclusive responsibility to ensure that your login details are kept secure. You must not disclose your login details to anyone. FantasyGo will not be responsible for any use or misuse of your User Account by third parties as a result of the disclosure of your login details to any third party, whether intentional or accidental, direct or indirect, active or passive.
FantasyGo reserves the right to refuse to register a User Account or to close your User Account at its sole discretion. However, subject to Clauses 2.7. and 2.10. above, if your User Account is closed, all money legitimately within your User Account will be returned and all contractual obligations already made will be honoured.
3. Deposits
Deposits to FantasyGo are solely for the purpose of entering FantasyGo Contests.
You may deposit funds into your FantasyGo User Account prior to entering a Contest or during the process of entering a Contest.
You may only deposit funds into your own FantasyGo User Account, not someone else's.
Similarly, only you may deposit funds into your FantasyGo User Account, nobody else can.
A minimum amount of R20.00 may be deposited at a time.
Any credit cards or similar financial instruments used to deposit funds into your User Account must be valid and lawfully belong to you.
You may be required to verify the ownership of a credit card or other financial instrument prior to effecting any deposit from it.
FantasyGo is not a financial institution and thus should not be treated as such. No interest will be earned on any amounts deposited into (or won by) your User Account.
You may not deposit any funds that originate from any illegal activity or source or which are tainted or associated with any illegal activity.
To deposit funds into your User Account, you can use any of the deposit methods specified on the Deposit page. Details regarding processing time and fee structure for the payment methods utilized are available on that page, and may be amended from time to time.
In rare circumstances, FantasyGo may charge certain fees for processing deposits. These fees may change over time. The current fee structure is specified in the relevant pages of the site.
FantasyGo reserves the right to use additional procedures and means to verify your identity when effecting deposits into your User Account.
If as a result of any error, FantasyGo credits your User Account with funds that do not belong to you, whether due to human or technical error or otherwise, the amount in question will remain property of FantasyGo. The amount will be deducted from your User Account as soon as FantasyGo becomes aware of the mistake. If you withdraw funds that do not belong to you, without prejudice to other remedies and actions that may be available at law or otherwise, the amount paid by mistake will constitute a debt owed by you to FantasyGo. If you notice that your User Account has been incorrectly credited, you are obliged to inform FantasyGo of this immediately via email.

4. Withdrawals
You may withdraw the entire amount of your balance from your FantasyGo Wallet, except for any “non-withdrawable” funds, which will be clearly labelled as such.
Any free funds claimed through referrals or special promotions may be non-withdrawable, at the discretion of FantasyGo.
A minimum amount of R10.00 may be withdrawn at a time. Some withdrawal methods may incur certain fees for processing withdrawals. The current fee structure is specified in the relevant pages of the site.
If you have less than R10.00 in your account and want to withdraw your funds, please email support@fantasygo.io for assistance.
Any withdrawals to a bank account may only be made to a bank account that personally belongs to the User and that User must be fully compliant with FantasyGo's KYC and FICA policies.
FantasyGo does not accept requests for withdrawals made by telephone or email. Requests for withdrawals can only be made via the FantasyGo website.
Withdrawals shall only be paid into the nominated account referred to in 4.5. above once FantasyGo has successfully confirmed that such account is a valid account held by you in your name.
Details regarding processing time and fee structures for withdrawals in respect to the method utilised are available on the “Wallet” page and may be amended from time to time.
Subject to any verification procedures which may be required at any time, requests for withdrawals will be processed as swiftly as possible, but in any event within a maximum of 5 business days.
FantasyGo reserves the right to perform enhanced due diligence in respect to withdrawals of funds not used for entering Contests and to review your deposit and withdrawal behaviour and use of our Services for unusual or irregular patterns.
5. Inactive User Accounts
An inactive account is an account that has a positive Wallet balance but has not been accessed for 18 months.
A dormant account is an account that has a positive Wallet balance but has not been accessed for 36 months.
In the case of inactive accounts, FantasyGo reserves the right to charge a monthly administrative fee of R30.00 on your account, for as long as the balance is positive, and your account stays inactive.
Any non-withdrawable balances, such as those claimed through referrals or promotions, will expire after 18 months.
Once your User Account becomes dormant or your Wallet balance drops below R50.00, and FantasyGo has been unable to contact and/or to locate you, your User Account will be closed and the remaining balance dealt with in the manner prescribed by law.
Holders of User Accounts who wish to recover funds held in a closed, locked or excluded account, are advised to contact support@fantasygo.io.
6. Closing a User Account
If you wish to close your account, you may do so at any time by emailing support@fantasygo.io.
FantasyGo will return to you all withdrawable funds from your User Account subject to the deduction of relevant withdrawal charges and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
FantasyGo reserves the right to terminate your User Account and to refund to you the withdrawable Wallet balance, subject to the deduction of relevant withdrawal charges and compliance with these Terms and Conditions, at its absolute discretion and without any obligation to provide a reason or give prior notice.
7. User Obligations
You Hereby Declare And Warrant That:
You are over 18 years of age.
You are solely responsible for compliance with any tax obligation in respect of any winnings and withdrawals from FantasyGo.
You participate in the Contests knowing that FantasyGo is a game of skill.
All information that you provide to FantasyGo during the term of this agreement shall be true, complete, and correct, and you shall immediately notify FantasyGo of any change in such information by emailing support@fantasygo.io.
All funds that you deposit into your User Account are not tainted by any illegality and, in particular, do not originate from any illegal activity or source.
You understand that you take the risk of losing any and all money deposited into your User Account as a result of participating in any of the Contests.
8. Entering a Contest and Winning
You may participate in any public paid Contest only if you have a sufficient balance in your FantasyGo Wallet required to enter the Contest.
In order to make the game more competitive for users with single entries, some contests may have soft limits on the number of times you may enter, after which point a service fee may be payable to continue entering further teams. This service fee is not added to the prize pool.
Once you have entered into a Contest and an amount has been debited from your Wallet, you will not be able to cancel your entry for that Contest.
You will be able to make as many changes to your entered team (including formation, player selections, captaincy and vice-captaincy) as you wish up until the Contest deadline, which will be clearly displayed on the Contest page. Generally, Contest deadlines are 90-minutes before the start of the first event in the Contest.
The amount of winnings (either Rands, non-withdrawable Rands, or Sponsored Prizes) for each Contest will be confirmed at the Contest deadline, and available for all Players to see.
The number of winning positions in a Contest is determined prior to a Contest deadline, but can change regularly at FantasyGo’s discretion. Winning positions will be available for all Players to see prior to the start of a Contest.
Contest winners will be notified via email and/or SMS and any Rand prizes (withdrawable and/or non-withdrawable) will be credited to their User’s Wallet.
A history of your previous Contest entries will be visible on your Wallet page.
In the event of a tie in a Contest, the tied Players will split or share the allocated prize.
Payment of any taxes, fees, charges and levies that may apply to your winnings under any applicable laws shall be your sole responsibility.
Contest Cancellations and refunds may be given in case of exceptional circumstances, such as postponed or cancelled real-life events, solely at the discretion of FantasyGo.
75% of every entry fee received in each contest will be added to the prize pool, except in free-to-play contests.

9. Card Processing
FantasyGo shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be accessed on: https://www.justice.gov.za/legislation/acts/2000-002.pdf
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the FantasyGo bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Card transactions will be acquired for FantasyGo via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details will be stored by FantasyGo separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate's secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
FantasyGo takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
10. Anti-Money Laundering Reporting
Player awareness of any suspicious activity relating to any of the Contests provided on the sites, must be reported to FantasyGo immediately.
For the purposes of the creation of a User Account, and for the purposes of any transaction, FantasyGo may undertake any such verification checks as may be required by law or by third parties (including, but not limited to, regulatory bodies) to confirm the identity of the customer and the origin of the money used on our Services.
FantasyGo will report any suspicious transactions to the relevant competent authorities in South Africa.
FantasyGo reserves the right to block, close or suspend a User Account and withhold funds if requested to do so in accordance with any applicable legislation pertaining to money laundering or the financing of terrorism.
11. Intellectual Property
FantasyGo owns the rights to all software, user interfaces and graphic features made available to its customers. These are protected by Copyright laws and you may only use the sites for your personal use in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the applicable laws.
You will need prior approval from FantasyGo to display, reproduce or use trademarks, service marks, trade names or/and accompanying logos used or reflected on the site.
Other products and service names displayed or referred to on FantasyGo may be trademarks and service marks owned by other companies. These may not be displayed, reproduced or used without the written consent of the owners thereof.
Animations, avatars, images, background images, other graphics, photographs, video and audio clips, button icons, streaming data, downloadable materials, data compilations and software, accessible from any website licensed, operated or controlled by FantasyGo are the intellectual property of FantasyGo or any party responsible for providing such materials.
The materials may not be copied, distributed, republished, modified, uploaded, posted, or transmitted in any way without the prior written consent of FantasyGo

13. Complaints
If you have a complaint you may contact our support team at support@fantasygo.io.
FantasyGo will use best efforts to resolve a reported matter promptly. If you disagree with FantasyGo’s final decision in respect of your claim and/or dispute and would like to dispute it, then you may send your written submission along with the final decision of FantasyGo to the National Consumer Commission.
14. Limitation of Liability
You enter the FantasyGo website and participate in the Contests at your own risk. The Websites and the Contests are provided without any warranty whatsoever, whether express or implied.
Without prejudice to the generality of the preceding provision, FantasyGo, its directors, employees, partners, service providers: - do not warrant that its Services are fit for their purpose; - do not warrant that its Services are free from errors; - do not warrant that its Services and/or the Contests will be accessible without interruptions; - shall not be liable for any loss, costs, expenses or damages, whether direct, indirect, special, consequential, incidental or otherwise, arising in relation to your use of the Services or your participation in the Contests.
You hereby agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless FantasyGo, their directors, employees, partners, and service providers for any cost, expense, loss, damages, claims and liabilities howsoever caused that may arise in relation to your use of the software or participation in the Contests to the fullest extent permissible in law.
15. Breaches, Penalties, and Termination
If you breach any provision of these Terms and Conditions or FantasyGo has reasonable grounds to suspect that you have breached them, FantasyGo reserves the right to suspend or close your User Account, to withhold any money in your User Account and to apply such funds for the recovery of any monies lawfully due by you to FantasyGo.
FantasyGo reserves the right to freeze or terminate your User Account if there are reasonable grounds to suspect that you (i) are in breach of these Terms and Conditions; (ii) have engaged or are engaging in illegal or fraudulent activities when using any of our Services or the referral program or (iii) have engaged in or are engaging in conduct which is otherwise detrimental to its business.
You acknowledge that FantasyGo shall be the final decision-maker regarding whether you have violated these Terms and Conditions for the purposes of determining whether your User Account should be suspended or permanently closed.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be illegal or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from these Terms and Conditions and all other provisions shall remain in force unaffected by such severance.
17. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and FantasyGo chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.
FantasyGo may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
